Melba Toast is a band that hails from Greenville, Texas.  Best described as southern rock, the group consists of the Mixson brothers, Adam and Alex.  Adam is the lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist.  His younger brother Alex is on the drums and backup vocals.  To name a few, their influences are Verbena, Local H, and My Morning Jacket.  Adam's voice is one of a kind, and his lyrics are very open to interpretation. Alex's drums are tight and have presence (not to mention extremely tight).  One of my best recordings yet.

The Dailys are an indie post-hardcore band that hails from Austin, Texas.  The group consists of five members: JP Bohon (vocals and guitar), Jared Canada (vocals and guitar), Chris Stephenson (guitar and organ), Trey Reimer (vocals and bass), and Scott Twitchell (drums).  Their influences are quite vast, from Sonic Youth to The Clash, and Pink Floyd to the Flaming Lips.  The live show is an intense experience, and sounds phenomenal.  Check these guys out on the Austin music scene.

The Undoing of David Wright is an experimental / new-wave / punk band.  The group hails from Denton, Texas. Larz is the lead singer on keyboards, A-Train is the guitarist (who vows never to play a chord), and Shane English is the bassist.  The percussion is powered by a drum machine.  Enjoy dancing your brains out to their live show.  My best description of it is Halloween meets disco.
